The threat of cold, rainy weather kept people away from the Greater Arizona Bicycling Association’s annual Toys for Tots bike ride on Saturday.

Forecasters predicted rain in the morning, but by the time the rides started it was clear and sunny.

According to an organizer only about 10 to 15 riders turned out for the ride that started at Udall Park — last year more than 70 people participated.

The turnout for the shorter family-friendly ride was also smaller with about 20 cyclists participating.
