Tucson now has its second official bicycle-friendly business.
The League of American Bicyclists awarded The Law Office of Eric Post (Soon to be a sponsor of TucsonVelo) the silver designation for bicycle-friendly businesses.
Post, an attorney who represents bicyclists, is also a member of the Tucson and a Tucson Pima County Bicycle Advisory Committee.
Post said this was the first year he had applied and was “thrilled” to be awarded the silver level on the first attempt.
He said he hasn’t received feedback from the LAB, but suspects the advocacy and community involvement that he and his employees perform played a large part in the award.
His law firm is only the second bicycle-friendly business in Tucson. The other, TriSports.com, is also a silver level
He said he was surprised there aren’t more bicycle-friendly businesses, but is excited that his law office is among the 250 businesses that have been recognized nationally.

How does one apply to become a bicycle-friendly business? We completely support cycling at Spoke6 and would love to be part of this program.

Yes there was. I wasn’t there because we were celebrating our anniversary. Got some stories about it in the works, though.
