I am happy to introduce The B Line as a sponsor of Tucson Velo.
The restaurant was opened in 2002 by Peter Wilke, his brother David and their friend Josh Gibson, who all lived in the neighborhood and felt like Fourth Avenue needed a place like The B Line.
Peter is a long-time cyclist and has supported cycling in Tucson for many years including sponsoring a cycling team.
Christine Ziegler, the manager of The B Line, said they enjoy having bike riders stop in.
“One of the best things about Tucson is how bike-friendly it is and is becoming,” she said. “We encourage the healthy lifestyle that cycling promotes — it’s good not just for the individual but also for the community and the environment.”
The B Line is open at 7 a.m. every day of the week, which allows bike commuters to stop in on their way to work or have breakfast after an early-morning ride. Cyclists can park their bikes in their gated patio area too.
The B Line serves breakfast from 7 – 11 a.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. – noon on the weekends. Lunch and dinner are served until 9 p.m. Sunday- Thursday and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
On Monday they have happy hour all day, Tuesday they have $10 off every bottle of wine.
Lastly, if you mention you saw The B Line on Tucson Velo, they will give you a free coffee or tea.
Please support The B Line and let them know you appreciate their sponsorship of Tucson Velo.
Join The B Line’s Facebook page too.
Thank you, B Line — my husband and I will be in for a meal soon! Congratulations on another sponsor, Mike.
