A reader forwarded me this email:
I work with a non-profit organization that promotes student exchange. Mathias from Norway would love to come to Arizona for the upcoming high school year. The reason I’m contacting you is that he is a HUGE fan of cycling!! He earns very good grades, attends church with his family and even plays the drums and piano. I would love to find him a loving host(s) that shares his passion for cycling.
A host can be single (25+), married, with or without kids and provides a loving home and meals. Mathias has his own money and insurance and would cover any expense related to his stay. This is a great way to share your culture, learn about another, and develop a lifelong friendship. If you could generate this information within your community, I would gladly donate $50 to your club if you were to locate a host for Mathias. I enjoy what I do and work hard to make this a great experience for the family and student.I’ve attached his profile which includes general information about him as well as a letter he has written to his potential host family.

Please forgive me if you feel harrassed by this email, that is not my intention.
On the other hand, please know that Mathias and I are grateful if you choose to help.
