Construction crews are in the process of adding stamped asphalt on Mountain Avenue.
According to one of the construction workers, they will add the markings to the crosswalks first and then begin adding the pavement markings as a buffer between parts of the bike lane and vehicle lane.
Stamped concrete provides a very interesting alternative to traditional pavement. I love the designs that can be created, as well as the improved traction. This will provide a decorative path for walkers that has improved grip, which will reduce falling.

It really seems interesting that there are different options when it comes to pavement. Being able to have stamped pavement would be a great look for malls. What would be interesting would be whether pavement might take over the brick business in terms of flooring. http://www.curtispaving.com/en/asphalt_paving.html
I think that this stamped pavement is a really nice addition to the city. Seeing pavement stamped like this is something that is unique and very classy. I would love to have stamped pavement like this in my yard. It would definitely help make my house stand out. I wonder how much it would cost to have something like this done.
