After a years long hiatus, bike racing is returning to the University of Arizona campus.
The UA Cycling Club is hosting the 2017 Santa Catalina Omnium, which consists of a road race in Oracle, Arizona and a criterium on the campus of the University of Arizona.
The crit was held on campus before the Tucson Modern Streetcar was built and made it difficult to find a suitable course.
This year the criterium will be held around the UA Mall between Campbell and Cherry Avenue on Saturday, Jan. 28.
In addition to the return of the crit to the the prizes are equal for both men and women throughout the races and categories.
Check out the race flyer to register or learn where to watch the event.
