Red Star Atlantic Cities is usually a good read. This particular article is worse than bad. The statistical correlations and data points are all taken out of context and the graph has misleading and poorly presented data. The comments that follow to address much of this and the original study is comprehensive and huge. I’m wondering if there is a Streetsblog post on this? Yikes! The one interesting take away for me was 47 miles traveled on bicycle per year per capita in the United States. I’d be curious to know what Colin Forbes has to say about any of this.
