Does anyone have news or first hand reports about how police are handling situations with their bike/ped grant monies? I’d like to know if they are giving warnings or tickets, and if although they aren’t “focusing” on stop sign violations, if they are giving them out anyway… I personally haven’t seen any cops anywhere. Maybe I’m not riding in the downtown/ua areas they are focusing.
Gallup recently completed a study on commuting. Though it’s not clear from the release whether automobile or mass transit commuters (both?) were studied, the study points to non-concerns for most bicycle commuters.
