Tucson’s next Cyclovia is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Here are five things you need to know about the open streets event, which allows people to walk, ride roll and dance in the street without motor vehicles.
1. It’s only the second fall event
This is the second time in the event’s history that organizers have put together a fall Cyclovia. Organizer Kylie Walzak said she hopes this to increase the number of yearly Cyclovias from two to four or five.
2. Beer Gardens
There are going to be beer gardens at the 6th Avenue and Seventh Street. The beer gardens are sponsored by New Belgium Brewing, Borderlands Brewery and Tap and Bottle.
3. The route
The route will be linear instead of a loop meaning you are more likely to see people coming and going. The northern most point is at Blacklidge and Fontana. The route will head south along the Fontana/Fourth Avenue bike boulevard to University Boulevard and will cut over to Sixth Avenue and south to Sixth Avenue and Seventh Street — the southern most point.

4. So. Many. Activities.
There are quite literally too many events to list here, but you can check them out on the Cyclovia Tucson website. There are five activity hubs with a multitude of activities to explore.
5. FOOD!
There are more than 15 food vendors selling everything from snacks to full on meals.
